LostPlayers is an independent community project designed to help gamers reconnect with former teammates, gaming partners, clan members, guildmates and other players they have lost touch with.

We only collect information that is necessary to operate the service.

What information do we collect?

When you submit a search request, LostPlayers may collect your nickname, email address and the information you voluntarily provide, such as the game, team, clan, guild, approximate period, nicknames you are looking for, memories or other details that may help with the search.

When you use the contact form, we collect your name or nickname, email address and the content of your message.

EMAIL ADDRESS

Your email address is not public.

Email addresses submitted through LostPlayers forms are not displayed on public pages.

Your email address is only used to process your request, manage your search and, when necessary, make it possible to contact you again.

LostPlayers does not sell or rent users' email addresses.

DATA RETENTION

How long do we keep your data?

Information associated with a search may be retained for as long as that search remains published on LostPlayers.

You can request the modification or deletion of your search and the personal data associated with it at any time.

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for a maximum of 12 months, unless a longer period is necessary to handle an ongoing request.

HOSTING AND SECURITY

Technical operation.

LostPlayers is hosted by OVHcloud. The hosting service may generate technical logs required for the operation and security of the website.

LostPlayers forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated submissions and spam.
